Teachers sacked after ‘encouraging toddler Fight Club’
As CBS2’s Christine Sloan reported, investigators said the former day care workers – Erica Kenny, 22, of Cranford, and Chanese White, 28, of Roselle – referenced the movie “Fight Club” as they encouraged preschoolers and kindergartners to fight each other on the playground at Lightbridge Academy in Cranford last month.
The August. 13 footage includes group melees and one-on-one battles, just like grown-ups Brad Pitt and Edward Norton in the film about a secret boxing club – which apparently inspired the violence, prosecutors said. In the video, children aged 4 to 6 were seen hitting each other and pushing each other down.

The Lightbridge Academy in Cranford, New Jersey, has now dismissed the employees. The actions of these two individuals do not reflect the culture of Lightbridge Academy and what we have stood for more than 18 years.
The center said it was “shocked and saddened by this isolated incident”.
