The west London outfit travel to Anfield on Wednesday night in the third round of the Carabao Cup before welcoming the Reds to Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening in a Premier League encounter.

And what of facing Chelsea twice this week?
Whether the outcome of this game will have any bearing on Saturday’s battle for three points remains to be seen.
Alvaro Morata had the game’s first big chance in the 19th minute, but, after collecting a superb lofted pass from compatriot Cesc Fabregas, he was denied by Mignolet’s fingertips and failed to convert the rebound from a tight angle. “We are trying to have him at the end of the week, but I don’t know at the moment”.
