Tech Report: iOS 11 brings new features to iPhones, iPads
iOS 11 is compatible with the iPhone 5s and later, the iPad mini 2 and later, the iPad Air and later as well as the most recent iPod touch.
Redditor SmearMeWithPasta shared the iOS 11 discovery, which is pretty simple to disable, freeing you from your app reviewing responsibilities.
So, what does it bring in addition to what you have already on your iPads and iPhones? There are a ton of new features that come with iOS 11, some of which we have touched on before. This means more than 180,000 apps won’t be compatible with iOS 11, and some of those apps were preemptively removed this summer. I’m interested to see whether or not these new featuring methods have the same impact as previous methods. Apple’s notification says that the app “will not work with iOS 11” and it will be banned from use until it’s updated. While Apple has improved its testing of new operating systems, iOS 11 could cause a glitch with your phone, at least in the beginning.
The company has made multitasking easy on the new iOS and users can use two app simultaneously in Slide Over and Split View. Photos, as well as videos, will no longer take up a lot of space because of the new HEIF and HEVC formats.
If the Apple iOS 11 update is not successful via the OTA update, you can always plug the iPhone or iPad into a MacBook or PC and install via iTunes.
“Hundreds of millions of people can now experience AR apps on iPhone and iPad and view virtual content on top of real-world scenes for interactive gaming, immersive shopping experiences, industrial design and more”, Apple said.
Live Photos Customization- One thing that we see in the iOS 11 release is Live Photos with more features and options.
It has been illegal to use your mobile phone while driving for a while but it seems that many motorists still flout this rule. The voice assistant can now translate languages including English into Mandarin, French, German, Italian or Spanish. As part of setting up iOS 11, you may also be asked to sign in with your Apple ID. The feature is now limited to native iOS app and the mobile operating system’s features though.
