Ted Cruz attacks Republicans for attacking Donald Trump: I think it’s just
Rubio did not gain or lose the confidence of Republican voters in the survey following his performance at the Fox News presidential debate.
“In 2012, 54 million evangelicals stayed home”, Cruz said, calling them “the largest single block of conservative voters that are not voting right now”. He’s got some conservative millionaires on his side, but his support among Republican voters nationally is neither wide nor deep.
As Western Journalism has previously reported, Cruz’s previous endorsement of certain aspects of Trump’s campaign has raised speculation that the two have formed an alliance of some sort.
He followed up by promising to instruct the Justice Department to investigate Planned Parenthood, to order the end of the prosecution of those exercising their First Amendment religious liberty, to tear up President Obama’s Iran deal, and to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to the Capital of Jerusalem. “If you join ISIS, if you wage jihad on America, than you are signing your death warrants”. Ted Cruz speak Monday night at the Jackson Fairgrounds did nearly as much standing and cheering as they did sitting and listening. It was 1991. “What would you fight for?” he continued. “He stands for all the values we respect…and the reason I believe [what he says] is he’s demonstrated it in Congress”.
He said supporters should padlock the IRS building, take the 90,000 employees and put them on the U.S. southern border.
Cruz also lamented the Republican takeovers of the House in 2010 and the Senate in 2014 for not resulting in any major changes in the way Congress works.
When taking questions, Cruz addressed Alabamians who were most concerned with the negative impacts of ObamaCare and the EPA.
“I’m pretty sure the Democratic debate is going to consist of Hillary (Clinton) and a Chipotle clerk”, he said, garnering laughs from the audience.
Earlier in the day in Little Rock, Hot Springs resident Barbara Deuschle waited for Cruz outside his tour bus door.
“We’re grateful today that God took a little toe-headed, hawg-slopping boy from West Texas, had the privilege of moving him to Houston to meet Ted Cruz and know today that he’ll make us a great president”, Wiley said, moments before he and his wife, Betty, gave Cruz a big hug.
People attending the dinner were served by about 25 youths from the Crawford County 4-H Club and the Believers Homeschool Association. And he always pledges that if elected, he will do “exactly what I say I’m going to do”.
“He has the courage to share his views publicly”. “We think we can do well here in Georgia, not just in Atlanta, but across the state”.
Cruz said he arrived late to the Murfreesboro rally because he had made a stop after a breakfast event in Chattanooga to visit a memorial to four Marines and a sailor who he said “were murdered by an act of radical Islamic terrorism”.
If this were a presidential election before Citizens United, Perry’s campaign would be finished. “We will enforce the law and keep Americans safe”.
“A lot of people are trying to talk that game, and I get it”, said a GOP operative working for a rival campaign.
Voice frequency often increases during heated debates (which may explain why Thursday’s figures fall outside the average male frequency range of 85 to 180 Hz) and we are certainly not prepared to predict that John Kasich will win the GOP nomination based exclusively on his silky baritone. But the third piece I think is most important. The candidate is hoping to do well in Iowa and South Carolina – though top-three finishes in either state is in no way guaranteed – but he is staking much of his fortune political fortune on the SEC states that vote only ten days after Republicans in the Palmetto State.
