Teen Arrested For Murdering Her Mom and Mom’s Boyfriend

Police took a 15-year-old girl into custody after authorities discovered two bullet-riddled corpses Sunday night inside an apartment at the Sheepshead Bay Houses, according to the NYPD. Cops said that the male victim may have been the female victim’s boyfriend. The two were found at about 6:30 p.m. inside their apartment on Batchelder Street in the Sheepshead Bay section.

Police say someone flagged a nearby patrol auto and responding officers found the apartment’s door ajar.

Police were tipped off about the double murder after the teen confessed to a cousin after he asked about her mother’s whereabouts.

The victims were identified as the suspect’s mother, Rosie Sanchez, 38, and her boyfriend, Anderson Nunez, 40.

Relatives told cops that she told them she had been raped by the boyfriend and that her mom did nothing about it, sources said.

The teen allegedly told police that she killed the pair on December 27, the Daily News added, also reporting that she was still being questioned by police early Monday.

Nunez had been stabbed and shot and was found in the kitchen, and Sanchez had been shot multiple times as well and laid in a bedroom. “They were a unit”, an upstairs neighbors told The New York Times, describing the couple and the 15-year-old daughter.
