The action kicked off as Stiles is being attacked by Donovan.

Stiles doesn’t purposefully kill Donovan, but he knows that if the chimera hadn’t been subdued he would have been the one to die. Stiles locks himself in a room and Donovan comes in forcing him to hide.

Is this a nearing conflict between Stiles and his girl? It was Stiles who made the call most likely to alert the authorities of the now dead Donovan. It was Scott that never gave up on him when the disorder turned out to be a nogitsune taking over his best friend’s body. His final guess is that someone took the body and he quickly erases everything and begins to panic. Her friends will be going into Wichen House in a bid to find answers.

The orderly tells them to empty their pockets into a container. Stiles and Lydia are both very uncomfortable around him. Theo, being the troublemaker that he is, insists that she doesn’t have to be so diligent.

Dr. Gabriel says, “Hit record!” Valack places a voice recorder into a tray and asks Lydia to press record. He wants her to record her scream.

Unfortunately, this may be one of the last good moments for Kira and Scott. Eventually, she stops herself and slams the brakes.

It’s pretty confusing so far as to how Kira fits into the whole thing.

“Nobody does the speed limit”, Theo said.

Malia, however, began to lose control of the wheel. However, she gets a flasback of when she was a child in the back seat of the vehicle, when and she and her adoptive mother met an accident.

How will Kira deal with the ramifications of her electric reaction at Eichen House? She has a flashback to the time when she crashed when she was younger. He tells them to READ THE BOOK! They take out his third eye.

Scott bites the bullet and picks up Kira, who’s overpowered with electrical current.

If they split, it will reverberate throughout the entire pack and ultimately become the most fatal threat that could happen to any of them. Their hands linger, and it’s something Stiles would NOT like whatsoever. Will he escape and help Scott and the pack? The episode is titled, “A Novel Approach”. Exploring Lydia’s involvement in Eichen is going to be a key aspect of putting the entire puzzle together.
