Teenage son of singer Nick Cave dies in cliff fall
Arthur Cave was found with life threatening injuries at the base of cliffs at Ovingdean Gap, Brighton, at 6pm yesterday, 14 July, according to Sussex Police.
The 15-year-old son of Australian singer Nick Cave has died after falling from a cliff on England’s south coast.
Although first aid was carried out at the scene he later died from his injuries in hospital that evening. He was our lovely, happy loving boy. “We ask that we be given the privacy our family needs to grieve at this hard time”, Nick and Susie Cave said in a joint statement.
His death on isn’t treated as suspicious, police said.
The teenager’s parents, Nick and Susie Cave, have paid tribute to their son.
The singer has two other sons, Luke and Jethro.
“The death is being dealt by the coroner’s officer”.
Cave, best known as the frontman of Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, is an eclectic songwriter and composer. In 2014, Arthur and his brother starred with their dad in the documentary movie 20,000 Days on Earth.
