“Tekken 7: Fated Retribution” Announced, Features Akuma from “Street Fighter”

In Tekken’s 7 upcoming Fated Retribution update, a legendary Street Fighter will make an appearance to bash in some skulls. You can check out the new trailer for the latest installment for the fighting game franchise below.

Bandai Namco showed a new trailer at the end of the tournament, which unveiled that the mysterious character is going to be Akuma. Let us know in the comments!

Akuma has left the Street Fighter world to pursue a personal venture.

When it comes down to it and you can’t stop Heihachi yourself, it’s always a safe bet to call on Akuma.

Adding Akuma isn’t the only addition to the Fated Retribution update either, the update will also feature new stages, costumes, items and other new characters.

This might seem very confusing as Street Fighter and Tekken, both have very different game-play styles. Akuma appears to retain many of his abilities from the Street Fighter series, including the Ha-Do-Ken, Dragon Punch and Hurricane Kick.

The reason Akuma is an interesting choice is because he uses projectiles.

Tekken 7 Fated Retribution is an upgraded version of the vanilla original arcade version that was out earlier this year.
