Television Actor Yash Pandit Accused For Raping An Actress

Known for his presence in the reality show Splitsvilla season 8, Yash Pandit has been accused of raping a TV actress.

Yash Pandit, the 34-year-old Mumbai-based actor has been a part of TV shows like “Savitri” and ‘Tere Mere Sapne, was reported to have met the actress in the month of September on the sets of a TV show. The victim, whose name has been withheld, met Yash on the sets of a television show in September this year.

The actress has also alleged that on two occasions, Yash invited her to his home promising to introduce her with his parents, and instead had sex with her.

However, after that day, Yash allegedly started avoiding the actress and even ignored her calls.

Media reports quoted the actress as saying, “He only had intentions of developing a physical relationship with me”.

Just when Yash Pandit and the actress grew fond of each other, the two went ahead with their relationship. “But, I wanted to teach him a lesson to get his nefarious intentions out in public view”, added the actress, whose identity has not been disclosed yet.

However, the things are not sorted after the complaint as the police officials have failed to trace Yash Pandit.

As per the reports the Senior police inspector Sunil Ghosalkar has stated that police team is on hunt and are raiding on various places where it is suspected that Pandit is hiding.

The actress has also claimed that the police isn’t taking sufficient action against the actor due to influence.

Yash was seen in “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” and also as a contestant in “Splitsvilla”.
