Ten-year-old being treated for case of Ebola in Liberia
An entire Liberian family was being treated at a special Ebola unit Friday after a 10-year-old boy tested positive for the virus, officials said.
She said the patients were at high risk and as such have been taken to the ELWA Ebola Treatment unit for medical treatment.

The Ministry of Health is now confirming two additional cases.
There were contradictory reports regarding whether the boy had attended school after he became contagious.
Aylward said the new case highlighted the importance of maintaining strong surveillance programs.
To be declared free of Ebola, a country or region must go 42 days from the time when the last patient tests negative for the virus.
Authorities are not sure how the boy contracted the disease since he had no history of contact with an Ebola victim or survivor and none of the family members had left the Monrovia area.
Sierra Leone, meanwhile, was said to have beaten the virus this month.
In all cases, however, transmission has been discontinued fast, with a low number of subsequent instances. “All of the healthcare workers who came in contact with the patient have been notified”, she said told a news conference. “The country has moved extremely quickly”. “C.D.C. will continue to assist on the front lines”. The concern is that they continue to be reservoirs of the deadly virus.
According to the latest toll by World Health Organization, the epidemic that started in December 2013 has left more than 11,300 dead, mainly in the west African states of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, out of nearly 29,000 cases.
