Terry Fox Foundation distances itself from Conservatives

Leader Justin Trudeau refused to get directly involved in the spat, saying he would encourage everyone to support the “incredible work that the Terry Fox Foundation and all cancer-research institutes do”. Remaining funds would come from other levels of government and private donors.
Harper’s wife Laureen was also on hand for Sunday’s announcement, and spoke about taking part in the five-km Terry Fox Run with Vancouver-area Tory candidate John Weston.
