Tesla Motors Inc Model X Finally Unveiled

Tesla finally delivered its long-awaited SUV, the Tesla Model X, which it had been touting as a concept auto since 2012.

It’s scary to think how much clout Tesla has garnered in such a short period of time. Musk said that the Model X should get a sixth star because the Model X has a six and one-half percent of injury.

However, if one opts for the “Ludicrous mode” option, the Model X P90D is expected to sprint from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. “Standard with all-wheel drive and a 90 kWh battery providing 250 miles of range, Model X has ample seating for seven adults and all of their gear”. Many cars do this already, but the Model X will also use an ultrasonic around the side of the vehicle to help steer you away from a side collision.

Tesla is calling the Model X “the safest SUV ever”, with tests showing that the probability of injury owing to an accident is at just about 5 percent, exceeding the NHTSA’s 5-star requirements. They can open to a near vertical position if you end up parked in a spot so tight you only have a matter of inches to open them. With the price going up to $144,000, the Model X is packed choke full of the latest technological advancements – in the hope that it would remain at the forefront of the emerging luxury electric vehicle segment.

Musk says the third row seat access and falcon doors are inspired in part by his own struggle of getting his twins into cars seats. Musk revealed the electric auto company will show off the look of the vehicle March and will begin taking pre-orders around that time.
