Texans vs. Broncos series history: Teams meet for just the sixth time

The man who had seemingly won over Broncos Country at the time said that while he was frustrated at the moment, the benching didn’t factor into his eventual departure from Denver. “I think everybody’s happy that he got his money”. Sometimes the best deals you don’t ever make end up being the best decisions you make.

He conceded that maybe he should have chosen his words more carefully when he declared at his introductory news conference in Houston that he chose the Texans over the Super Bowl champs because they gave him the “best opportunity to be successful”.
