Texas boy, 15, charged in his mother’s murder
Police said the auto has been recovered since Moseley’s son was detained.
Neighbors have told local reporters Moseley was found lying in a pool of her own blood and her black 2014 Nissan Maxima was missing.
The murder charge was announced late Monday morning, after police interviewed the son, who was described in a news release as “cooperative in the investigation”.
A neighbor discovered the 33-year-old woman’s body Saturday after not seeing her for a few days and checking her residence. Police said they believed he acted alone.
‘I thought maybe someone had broken in the house or something and that’s when I found the unfortunate event that happened.
Cops confirmed to the Houston Chronicle that Moseley was pregnant at the time of her death, and a friend told KHOU that Moseley was four months into the pregnancy.
The neighbor, who said he hadn’t seen Mosely in several days, told KPRC he chose to check on her after he noticed her front door open.
“She did any and everything for her son”, added Austin.
‘Smart kid, wanted to play football.’ “They got along great”. Investigators have not released a possible motive for the slaying.
According to police, it is not known if her son is involved as a person of interest or a victim.
