Texas fire captain found shot to death in vehicle
Bob Poynter was found dead in his vehicle along the road around 11 p.m. Friday after witnesses reported seeing a woman trying to get the attention of drivers.
Chacey Tyler Poynter was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder on Saturday, September 10, 2016.
The information she provided was “suspicious and conflicting”, according to the news release.

Authorities have not said what the relationships between Garza and the Poynters was.
The murder and the arrest shocked neighbors.
The wife of an 18-year University Park Fire Department veteran found dead of an apparent gunshot wound late Friday is now under suspicion for his death, police said. He turned himself in early Sunday morning. She is now in the Rockwall County Jail.
Police were also looking for another person who witnesses had seen with Poynter when she was trying to flag down cars, according to the station.
The woman has been identified as Chacey Poynter, 29. A firefighter/paramedic, he was promoted to Lieutenant in April, 2002 and became a Captain in May, 2012.
Robert began serving at the University Park Fire Department in Dallas in 1997, as a firefighter and paramedic.
She said the couple had just returned from a Mexico vacation and have a daughter who had just started the first grade.
