Texas mother fatally shoots 2 daughters; police kill her

While teen Madison was pronounced dead at the scene, Taylor was airlifted to Texas Medical Center in Houston where she died on Saturday morning.

Sheriff Troy Nehls told the Houston Chronicle that the case was a family argument that turned into a shooting.

And we can only echo that sentiment, our best wishes go to the father during what must be an absolutely horrific time.

“It would be too premature to give you a motive as to why something like this took place”, Nehls said.

According to local reports, police shot the 42-year-old after she refused to drop the weapon.

Christy posted frequently on her Facebook page, including a post in September praising her daughters as “my two unbelievable, sweet, kind, beautiful, intelligent girls”.

She also posted messages in support of the Second Amendment. She had tons of friends, me and him both.

And in January she posted a meme showing a handgun which made fun of President Barack Obama’s position on gun control. How many guns do I have?

“I have 10 guns”.

The incident was apparently the result of a family dispute that spilled into the street.

Both Madison and Taylor reportedly worked as babysitters.

Jason and Christy recently reunited after separating, a neighbour told the TV station.

In a statement, the Fulshear Police Department’s Facebook page said that their officer had been “forced to take action”, and that he had not been harmed in the altercation.

When they arrived at the scene, they found Taylor Sheats, 22, and her sister, Madison Sheats, 17, with shot wounds. Friends of the two young women are struggling to come to terms with the shooting.

“Happy Daughter’s Day to my fantastic, sweet, kind, beautiful, intelligent girls”, she wrote. “It’s always quiet. This is surprising”, he said. “They never showed any kind of thing that was wrong with them whatsoever”. Check out some of the comments.
