Thanksgiving Day meals in the community

“We can easily move our Thanksgiving to another day”. This year, volunteers have 800 meals ready.
“There’s a wide variety of people who come out”, said Sue Batchelor-Glader, the wife of Trinity minister Bruce Batchelor-Glader.
“We got feedback, and we will meet them at a central location and delver those meals and they can take them back to their homes”, said Fontaine.
“We’re just trying to make sure that everybody in the community has Thanksgiving”, Morrison added.
“We want to serve the community and help the community”, said Pastor Joe Dunlap.
“The serving time is from 11:30 to 3:30 and there will be a service beginning at 11 o’clock, so if you would like to come and participate in the service to say how good God been to you because everyday is a day of Thanksgiving”, Kennard said.
Mt. Pleasant’s is one of three sites packing meals for Thursday.
About 200 homeless and hungry Arkansans had a Thanksgiving meal Tuesday at Saint Mark’s Baptist Church in Little Rock.
