The creep of Black Friday shopping into Thanksgiving Day showed another sign of slowing. It’s not unusual to hear horror stories of shoppers gone wild trying to get consumer goods at low, low prices at the annual mega-sales on one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
Black Friday offers on select Apple smartphones and tablets are coming to major retailers throughout the U.S.in 2015.
That broader strategy is a backdrop for the retailer’s decision to set aside more inventory this year in key holiday-season categories such as electronics and toys.
No matter when you choose to hit the mall, people are expected to spend an average of $800 dollars for their holiday shopping this year. And almost 80% of respondents expect to earn up to 40% of their holiday sales during Thanksgiving/Black Friday weekend.
Now, in a move that’s pretty much the opposite of that, Target has announced that the company plans to open its stores at 6p.m. on Thanksgiving day. But a few high-profile retailers are bucking the trend. The discounts will be available in stores starting at 6 p.m. that day, the company said in a statement. Best Buy is opening at 5 p.m. on the holiday, the same time as previous year, while Target and Macy’s will open at 6 p.m., and Toys R Us at 5 p.m.

Those who prefer to hibernate indoors the day of the big feast don’t have to miss out on the savings, as Target is planning to offer all of its Black Friday deals online beginning “early” Thanksgiving morning.
Meanwhile, Target also released the preview of its Black Friday events on Monday, including the “10 Days of Deals” promo, which will offer great discounts on electronic devices starting on November 22 until December 1, PC Magazine reported. The chain will close its doors at 11 p.m. on Black Friday.
This year, Walmart’s mobile users got a first look at the Black Friday circular, which posted via the app right after midnight.
