The Bachelor – Taylor Charges $120 an Hour
It wasn’t revealed exactly which scenes on The Bachelor that Nick Viall’s fiancee was disturbed about, but it’s safe to assume much of it has to do with Corinne Olympios – this season’s proverbial villain.
Taylor is determined to defeat her arch rival, Corinne, even after being dispatched on the dramatic two-on-one date. Her main beef was Corinne’s lack of “emotional intelligence”.
Moving right along to the rose ceremony, Alexis, Corinne, Danielle M. “Basically, I’m a helper”, Taylor says.
One fantastic date might be all it takes for Nick to find a wife, as Rachel admitted she’s on her way to falling in love.
Rachel gets the week’s coveted one-on-one date. Everyone was jealous, but mostly of the beignets. A caretaker named Boo (sure) explains that the house is haunted by May, a little girl who searches for her beloved doll from the other side. The gang is off to New Orleans, which – per the introductory B-roll – is a vibrant city of gators, trolleys, brass instruments, gators, colorful masks, and gators.
It’s not, but I’m guessing she already knew that. After exchanging ‘I like yous, ‘ Nick gave Rachel the rose. And it must have been a moving one too, because just as the episode appears to be nearing its end, with Nick and Corinne sharing a romantic meal together, Taylor re-appears.
As the ceremony begins, you can see Nick’s breath in the cold Wisconsin air and I have an idea: Extreme Bachelor, which is the same show except it takes place in almost uninhabitable locations around the world. There’s a lot to like here, and it might be time to start considering here a dark horse contender for the fourth failed relationship of Nick’s time on the show. But I respect the heck out of her taste in steaks.
Taylor got the rose of the group date (her face shows it all).
The girls waste a perfectly good Ouija board session asking things like, “Who will get the group date rose?” and “Will Nick get engaged soon?” while May is clearly not impressed. We’ve got the popular picks right here. They mess with a Ouija board and walk through the house with candles. She then kisses the 36-year-old software sales executive.
Corinne corners Nick Viall and throws Taylor all the way under the bus. The card reader warned her to not engage and listen to her intuition because something was about to be final.
But Corinne was playing chess, not checkers, and used her time to attend to Nick’s ear, making him believe that Taylor had been an overwhelming bully to her. It’s certainly possible that she’s just getting drug along for the sake of causing drama. Peri says her daughter Corinne was wearing cover-ups on her breasts during the wedding shoot in the pool and also a bathing suit under the trench coat at the mansion. Spoiler alert: Neither Nick, nor Taylor, nor Corinne fall into the water. It’s a surprisingly deep idea that the show hasn’t yet explored: Nick got rejected twice, in public fashion. Taylor had no reaction. Corinne knows that her behavior is out-of-line, and she’s playing up the “sexy child” angle on objective.
And thus we are left with another “To Be Continued…”
