The Bachelorette’s Desiree Hartsock Weds Chris Siegfried
The 9th season finale of The Bachelorette held at Antigua, in August 2013, saw Chris Siegfried proposing Desiree Hartsock with a giant Neil Lane diamond wedding ring. The ring featured intertwining rose gold and platinum band with more than 200 small diamonds.
Hartsock, 29, a bridal boutique stylist, revealed that she was left confused and heartbroken when another contestant Brooks Forester quit the show abruptly. She went on to say that she holds no hard feelings for Forester, a 28-year-old sales and marketing rep. Hartsock moved in with Chris in Seattle.
Desiree Hartsock finally married her fiancé 30-year-old mortgage broker, Chris Siegfried in a 15 min ceremony, on Sunday, Jan. 18 at a church in Palos Verdes, California. The bride wore a Maggie Sottero dress, a one-shoulder lace outfit with the neckline sporting a sheer overlay and a long train in the back.
Desiree’s side parted hair looked gorgeous in waves. One side of her wavy hair was clipped back behind her ear and a long veil stemmed from the behind her head. Ahead of her wedding, Desiree had a flower filled bridal shower organised by Bachelor alums and friends. Desiree had earlier competed for Sean Lowe on the 17th season of The Bachelor but lost to Catherine Giudici. She finally picked Chris on ABC’s season nine of The Bachelorette.
After the wedding, the newly-weds drove in a black stretch limo to the Redondo Beach Historic Library, for the reception. Desiree’s slipped into her second wedding dress designed by her with Sottero. The reception included a performance by Singer Matt White who performed “Love and Affection” for the bride and groom’s first dance. It is reported that Siegfried personally requested White to perform this song that was also played during their date in Germany on the reality show.
We wish the couple a very happy and blissful married life.
