The Beatles are coming to streaming services starting Christmas Eve
The discography available on Spotify’s streaming includes nearly every product from the legendary band from Liverpool- from “Please Please Me” to “Revolver” and both the volumes of “Past Masters”.
Beatles song now available on streaming services.
Stream the Beatles starting on 12:01 a.m. on December 24, 2015. The Beatles‘ Apple record label and the streaming service provider were stuck on an issue over the use of the Apple logo in the music business, the Guardian reported.
The Beatles themselves, had been involved in long-winding disputes, particularly with Apple, and have held off from making their music available on streaming services.
It was a big deal for Apple’s iTunes when the first digital album of The Beatles was made available in 2010.
The Billboard magazine reported last week that Beatles’ music was coming to a streaming service, but did not specify which one. The announcement came Wednesday morning on their website with the words “Happy Crimble, with love from us to you”. Swift was insistent that Spotify limit access to her songs to paid subscribers only, and when Spotify refused, she pulled her catalog and lashed out at streaming in general as a “grand experiment”. However, Beatles’ appearance on Spotify will be a great means of recovery for a service that lost Ms. Swift due to her issues with the platform’s dynamics.
Thirteen remastered studio albums and four collection albums make up The Beatles’ streaming debut.
There are many artists that can’t be found on streaming services, but none more conspicuously so than the Beatles.
That’s right-you’ll be able to blast “Here Comes the Sun” on Christmas Eve when you desperately need to drown out the prying life questions from your Aunt Helen.
