The Beatles back catalogue becomes available via streaming
The emergence of “The Beatles” legendary music on nine different streaming services, including Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) Apple Music, has been the best Christmas present for users. Nine big-name music streaming services including Spotify, Google Play and Apple Music are on board. In case you were wondering whether you had to be a paying user of those services, worry not! Until midnight on December 23, the Famous 4’s music had not been out there on the likes of Spotify still an announcement yesterday on the band’s official Twitter feed modified all the things. According to Rolling Stone the record business has shifted its model from selling CDs and downloads to streaming, “revenue from Spotify, YouTube and the others jumped from less than $600 million in 2012 to almost $1.1 billion in 2014”. The music service already has some songs with a lot of restrictions.
Jay Z’s music service which was launched earlier in 2015 and is backed by some of the most popular musicians in the industry including Beyoncé, Madonna, Kanye West, and Riahnna. This is such good news for all the fans who have been waiting for this time to happen.

Modern artists, however, have started to resist streaming.
In a report by ReCode, there are services that won’t have full access to the catalog, which include Pandaro and Rdio. Apart from Apple music services, the music’s availability on Spotify, Amazon Music, and Google Play store would increase the market reach of the album. “It’s fantastic to see the songs we originally released on vinyl receive as much love in the digital world as they did the first time around”, McCartney said at the time.
