The Best And Worst Of WWE Raw 9/19/16: Eddie And The Cruisers
It’s the first time that the belt will be defended since it was introduced at SummerSlam, as Kevin Owens faces Seth Rollins in a match between arguably the two best performers on WWE’s flagship program.
For the first time since the unofficial turn a few weeks back, Rollins was treated like a legitimate babyface, and he will benefit at Clash of Champions, where he battles Owens for the WWE Universal Championship. Also on RAW, after the thrilling conclusion of the Cruiserweight Classic last Wednesday, the Cruiserweight Division would make its debut on RAW as Brian Kendrick, Noam Dar, Rich Swann, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Cedric Alexander, and new Cruiserweight Champion and CWC victor T.J. Perkins would finally arrive on RAW!

Match 5 – Match six of the Best of Seven Series, Cesaro vs Sheamus: Cesaro won by giving Sheamus the Gotch Neutralizer. This week, Sheamus looked for some revenge and a championship opportunity, as well.
Also announced tonight is that the RAW Women’s Title Match at CoC will be a Triple Threat Match.
The two would tag up on Monday night to face the champion and Dana Brooke, who’s still around for some reason despite getting treated ruthlessly awful by Charlotte. Bayley isn’t likely to become champion just yet, and she could be the one that gets pinned to end the match.
Will Charlotte retain her strap on Sunday night?
-Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho. Strowman caught Sin Cara mid-quebrada and hit a running powerslam for the pinfall.
Match 4 – Bo Dallas vs Gary Graham: Dallas finished off another local talent with Roll of the Dice. He was interrupted by Enzo Amore and Big Cass. Gran Metalik, Rich Swann and Cedric Alexander by submission after locking in the Captain’s Hook on Alexander.
Over the past month, Kevin Owens skyrocketed to the top tier of WWE’s competitive roster.
