The Division alpha test now live on Xbox One
The Division Beta that was supposed to launch this December will unfortunately be moved in early 2016.
According to a Tech Times report, this piece of bad news however was accompanied by good news as Ubisoft also announced that they will be conducting a closed
The closed alpha will kick off on December 9 and will last until December 12. As posted on the blog, those who would be participating the alpha test will be bound by a non-disclosure agreement, wherein players would have to agree not to share any information, images or video from the alpha test.
The game is set to be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on March 8, 2016, granted no delays will happen.
“The Alpha isn’t a full version of the game, and will only function during specific time frames”, Ubisoft wrote on a blogpost.
The alpha test version of the game will be 23.2 GB and will be available worldwide except Japan and China.
Well, here we are with word that the closed alpha is now live, and it is obviously happening only on the Xbox One platform.
Geek explained that during the alpha stage, the game developer will “test the game’s infrastructure under real world conditions (i.e. having the public play it) in order to iron out any kinks, and to also get fan feedback in order to make the final product stronger”. These are being sent out randomly, with priority to those who pre-ordered the game on Xbox One.
“The Division Alpha is the first technical test phase of the game, and the chance for a select few to experience a pre-release version of the game before it launches”.
