According to Ubisoft, the closed beta will launch a day early on the Xbox One on January 28th followed by PC and PS4 on January 29th.
Your mission is about to start. The announcement did not mention a date for PlayStation 4. But you can still sign up to participate on The Division’s website.
Ubisoft made a deal with Microsoft so that the Xbox One gets special treatment in regards to The Division. Players have to team up with other Division agents as they progress.
The beta is important so that Ubisoft can try and fix all of the bugs before the game comes out.
The multiplayer beta will run through January 31 across all platforms. But anyone traveling to PAX South at the end of the month will likely miss the latest round of testing for Tom Clancy’s The Division.
Ubisoft just revealed the dates via The Division’s Twitter page. Codes are limited to one per customer.
Xbox One players will be the first ones allowed in the game, with PC and PS4 players forced to wait until January 29.
