The Division beta delayed from December to early 2016
It promises a unique blend of third person shooting, RPG elements and open-world multiplayer that we haven’t really seen before.
Are you disappointed that the Beta Phase has been delayed for The Division?
Tom Clancy’s The Division won’t be having its beta happening this month – instead, Ubisoft has announced an Xbox One exclusive alpha that will begin this week.
There is a silver-lining, however. Those who have pre-ordered on any system, be it Xbox One, PS4 or PC, will automatically receive access to the beta when it launches next year.
With an exclusive Closed Alpha on Xbox One starting in a couple of days, many fans were anxiously awaiting the upcoming Beta, where they could try the game out ahead of release.
If you’re on the wait list for the alpha, you may be granted access “on an as needed basis”. This process allows us to monitor and gather additional feedback on other aspects of The Division, as well.
The file size for the Alpha will be 23.2 GB.
It should be noted that the alpha is under NDA (non-disclosure agreement) so if you sign up, you’re agreeing to not capture gameplay videos, livestream, or post images. Ubisoft wants to provide the most thrilling experience possible with The Division coming to Xbox One, PC and other platforms on March 8, 2016.
There is no digital edition available through Xbox.com yet, but you can pre-order The Division through the Microsoft Store.
