The Division’s post-release plans revealed
Most of us are just now getting our first taste of The Division.
The Division is due to launch on March 8th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It’s also important to note that those who have pre-ordered the game are guaranteed a spot in the beta, and should have their code already. Today some details about the post-launch plans have been revealed, and it includes several free updates along with three major expansions.
The Division Beta is available this weekend on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
The three planned DLC packs are created to expand the way the player interact with the game, with the first one called Underground because it will open a new area for gamers to explore as the metro system is opened up for four-player cooperative action. We bring you all the latest The Division UK release date and pre-order information, as well as trailers and screenshots and news of The Division beta opening this week. In Expansion II: Survival, players will have to survive as long as possible in a very hostile environment. It sort of sounds like Ubisoft plans to add some kind of survival gameplay like Horde Mode from Gears of War or Firefight from Halo 3: ODST and Halo Reach. If you spring for the DLC Pass, you will also receive a sawed-off shotgun and some new outfits and weapon skins. I’m going to assume it’ll cost $50 for the standalone season pass. Playstation 4 and PC players that signed up for the closed beta will have a chance to play around with their betas starting tomorrow and will end on the 31st of January as well.
Tom Clancy’s The Division is one game we recommend everyone to play; it is too good to miss out. You’re part of the Division, an autonomous unit of tactical agents trained to operate independently.
