The next generation of Star Wars films kicked off with an elaborate debut for The Force Awakens yesterday that served as a proverbial passing of the lightsaber to new fighters dueling in a cinematic galaxy far, far away.

Mr Duxbury said he loved the interaction between the characters, and how human some of the droids and other species felt, and he was hooked to Star Wars from the start and he hoped his daughters would enjoy the same feelings this time around.
