Nicki’s answer to the Remy’s low blows was to pull out a magic card: cite Beyonce, who knighted Nicki the queen of rap in 2015. However, recent reports claimed that Minaj’s ex-boyfriend Meek Mill is also behind the lyrics of the song.
He then goes on to say that he should never have let Minaj go himself, referring to their throwback when they shot the video for “Pills n Potions”.
“Tried to disrespect Taylor ’cause Taylor wasn’t Swift enough”, Remy delivers, referring to Nicki’s 2015 Twitter war with Tay over that year’s MTV VMA nominations. I agree with everybody on social media.
While the partnership deal has ended late a year ago, the topic was brought to light once again as an unofficial Twitter account of Kmart posted a tweet announcing the reason behind the discontinued partnership with Nicki Minaj.
To me, this beef between the two rappers is thoroughly entertaining for many reasons.
