The Greatest Sia, Kendrick Lamar
As the music begins the bodies rise, and a group of young dancers take flight from the room with the help of Ziegler.
On Tuesday, Sia released the video for her new single, “The Greatest”, which features Kendrick Lamar (though his verse isn’t in the video version). In the video, dance star Maddie Ziegler once again uses her incredible expressive movements among other dancers…49 total…the number of lives taken during the Orlando Mass shooting.
After releasing her This Is Acting LP earlier this year, Sia returns with another hit.
Unsurprisingly, the notoriously private singer doesn’t star in filmmaker Daniel Askill’s video, nor does rapper Kendrick Lamar, who features on the single. You can check out the incredibly moving video for “The Greatest” above, and listen to Kendrick’s verse in the full version of the song below.
Sia posted a short teaser four days ahead of the single launch, the first taste of her upcoming new record We Are Your Children.
With that in mind, Sia just dropped a new track called “The Greatest”, and Maddie is the star of it, so it rules.
Sia is about to head out on the road for her North American tour.
