But when two of her army, Chris Hemsworth’s Eric and Jessica Chastain’s Sara, defy her one request and she learns that her beloved sister Ravenna (Charlize Theron) has been vanquished, all hell breaks loose and Freya’s dark evil threatens to take over. While this gritty fairy tale has boost the badassery in the film, it remains uncertain if the sisters will unite to battle humanity or will face off against each other after a few kind of conflict over the powerful magic mirror, Wired revealed.

After years of development troubles, the first teaser to next year’s “The Huntsman: Winter’s War” has finally landed online. Before finding out Queen Ravenna’s fate in the first movie, it appears that her sister Freya (Blunt) was betrayed and fled from the kingdom.

Meanwhile, Eric (Chris Hemsworth), initially under Freya, will join the rest of the banished hunstmen including Sara (Jessica Chastain), as they rise to protect their land. They will fall in love but have their hearts frozen by Freya as they steer away from her orders. When it comes to the new movie The Huntsman: Winter’s War, we have not heard a great deal of information about what to expect but as the release date draws closer, we are expecting to get a lot more. Rupert Sanders, who directed “Snow White and the Huntsman”, also handed over the director’s chair to Cedric Nicolas-Troyan.

“The Huntsman: Winter’s War” is expected to release in theaters on April 2016. Producer Joe Roth (Maleficent, Alice in Wonderland) once again leads the team in a breathtaking new tale nested in the legendary saga.
