The Huntsman Winter’s War trailer introduces the new cast
The trailer introduces a sibling rivalry between Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) and her younger sister Freya (Emily Blunt) over the loss of the younger sister’s daughter.
A brand new trailer has arrived for The Huntsman: Winter’s War and it looks like we’re in for an action-filled time when the film arrives in cinemas.
Looking at the trailer, it is as though it was saying “Look, we are channeling Disney’s Frozen and mixing it in with polar bears and hooded evil forces draped in melted golden”. You can take a gander at it, and decided for yourself, by clicking below. Helping to try and keep the peace despite everything are actrs Nick Frost, Rob Brydon and Sam Clafin.
In part because of the shenanigans of Snow White and the Huntsmans star Kristen Stewart and director Rupert Sanders, the decision was made to create a prequel rather than sequel to the 2012 fantasy adventure. “Winter’s War” was directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, working off a script written by Evan Spiliotopoulos and Craig Mazin.

Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron reprise their roles in the film, which examines how the fates of Hutsman Eric and Queen Ravenna are deeply and dangerously intertwined.
Long before the evil Queen Ravenna (Theron) was thought vanquished by Snow White’s blade, she watched silently as her sister, Freya (Blunt), suffered a heartbreaking betrayal and fled their kingdom.
The film is slated for an April 22 release.
Freya then trains an army of child soldiers, two of whom grow up to be huntspeople Eric (Chris Hemsworth) and Sara (Jessica Chastain).
