The iPhone 5se’s design just leaked
Ever since Apple got rid of the 4-inch iPhone they have been bombarded with people trying to get them to bring it back, albeit an updated version.
The bottom of the phone with the speaker grills, Lightning port, and headphone jack also looks identical to the iPhone 5s.
The iPhone 5se, also referred to as the iPhone 6c, is expected to hit the scene soon as Apple’s new compact iPhone.
The schematics show a phone that’s a blend of the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 5s in design.
Design aesthetics aside, the iPhone 5se is increasingly looking like a compelling upgrade for users who aren’t keen on Apple’s bigger iPhone models.
It has the 4-inch screen of the iPhone 5 generation, and the volume buttons on the left side look like the rounded buttons from the 5 generation compared to the oval volume button on the 6 generation.
If these leaked schematics turn out to be the real deal, the iPhone 5se could bear an uncanny resemblance to the iPhone 6. Unlike the iPhone 5c, which never really caught on, the iPhone 5se is expected to offer powerful specifications despite its compact form factor. The edges are still flat, but seams between glass and the body are curved just like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. This would contradict earlier rumors hinting at a weaker A8 processor with an M8 motion coprocessor. But it also means Apple is unlikely to solve whatever iPhone-related sales slowdown it is experiencing simply by adding one more handset to the lineup.
Apple is expected to take the wraps off its new 4-inch smartphone, likely to be called iPhone 5se, next month. And yet, sources claims that the display won’t be as curved as on the new model.
