The Last Twitter Account David Bowie Followed Before Dying Was God
The organisers have now chose to go forward with it as a memorial concert that will be titled The Music of David Bowie.
“Blackstar” was released two days before Bowie’s death and has been dubbed his “farewell album”, with mentions of death and heaven throughout its lyrics.

Alongside a black and white picture of himself and David, Mick wrote: “David was always an inspiration to me and a true original”. And he wanted to do it his way and he wanted to do it the best way. Bowie made his debut at Carnegie Hall in September 1972 as part of his first U.S. tour.
The chairman of the Brit Awards has confirmed that David Bowie’s “extraordinary life and work” will be honored at this year’s ceremony, which is set for London’s O2 Arena on February 24th.
His latest album “Blackstar” was released on January 8.
Figures from global streaming service Spotify show there was a jump of 2,822pc in the hours following the announcement that he had died from cancer.

“He was so chic and attractive and elegant”. During his nearly 50-year career, Bowie managed to touch on a wide base of genres, including folk, psychedelic, glam rock, jazz and just about everything else you could imagine.
