The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess HD Announced for Wii U
Nintendo Direct has been a very popular and well received platform that Nintendo has used to announce new games and other great content for their platforms.
You can find The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD amiibo bundle on Best Buy’s website right now.
Last month, we heard a few rumors that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess may be next in line for the HD remake treatment, following Wind Waker HD.
Destructoid also posted a video that compared the graphic differences between the original 2006 game and the upcoming HD version.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will be released on Wii U on March 4th, 2016. IGN predicts release dates for either “Bravely Second” or “Fire Emblem Fates” will be announced.
In addition to offering updated visuals, the game will also be compatible with the brand new Wolf Link Amiibo and five previously released Legend of Zelda Amiibos. After dealing with criticism for not showcasing Zelda on the Wii U at E3 2015, to the passing of its CEO Satoru Iwata in abrupt fashion, the company hasn’t had much to celebrate. Even though the surprise of Twilight Princess HD was spoiled beforehand, Nintendo still had one trick up their sleeve for fans. Link is assisted by the imp Midna, and must explore a vast in-game world in order to break his curse and save Hyrule. It is rumored that Linkle, a new female counterpart of Link, will be featured in the upcoming version. As Venture Beat noted, Nintendo has yet to release a console that didn’t have it’s own addition to the Legend of Zelda franchise, and WiiU isn’t going to be the first.
