The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD & Wolf Link Amiibo Announced
According to a listing on the website for games rating body PEGI, Minecraft: Wii U Edition has been certified for release. One of these announcements is the confirmation of the HD remaster for The Legend Of Zelda Twilight Princess, the entry of The Legend Of Zelda series originally released on Nintendo GameCube and Wii. A version of Twilight Princess HD will come bundled with the Wolf Link figure. As for the Wolf Link amiibo, well, what can I even say? Clearly this is Nintendo dabbling in microtransactions, but in the company’s defense, there is one main difference when compared to how it is done by other game developers.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (HD) has been confirmed for a March 2016 release on the Wii U, with development and port duties being handled by Melbourne-based Tantalus.
Super Mario Maker was the primary driver, with Yoshi’s Woolly World also playing a part.
It’s been a hard year for Nintendo.
With many Pokemon fans still hoping for a new game in time to celebrate the anniversary, the upcoming Nintendo Direct has ignited hope once again. The other major title from the franchise, “Hyrule Warriors Legends”, will become available on Nintendo 3DS early in 2016, introducing more playable characters. Data saved on the Wolf Link amiibo will transfer over to The Legend of Zelda for Wii U. These updates are free, and will be available from December 2. The HD mod looked more like the “Zelda” Wii U tech demo presented at E3 2011. Ocarina Of Time and Majora’s Mask were each remastered in 3D for the 3DS, and Wind Waker HD was released on the Wii U in 2013. No release date was announced for Cloud’s arrival in the fighting games, but viewers were told to expect an announcement event about Smash Bros. this December.
