The Legends Go Time Traveling With Flash, Arrow & Supergirl!
The mega-crossover concludes with Legends of Tomorrow tonight at 8pm on The CW.
The Dominators have a world-ending weapon pointed at the Earth. Episode 7 is titled, Invasion! where Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl and Legends team up to fight the Dominators and save their Earth. Ccheck out the pics from Part 2 of Invasion / Heroes vs Aliens in last night’s The Flash! I was writing that scene where Oliver goes back, and it just popped in my head…
The Dominators have been defeated and the superheroes returned to their respective shows.
Professor Stein learned he has a daughter. Then it grabbed the pace when he made his mind by taking help from Supergirl (who herself is an Alien). Stein can’t view her as a real person. They knock the Legends out so they can take them and the alien away. But someone else comes in her place.
This turns the Dominators’ interesting but probably flawed philosophical problem about the dangers of metahumans into a kind of non-issue. While the Dominator threat may be contained, I wouldn’t count them out from showing up again someday. Cisco and Felicity bust in to save them. So they leave Oliver behind too. The events in Episode 8 forced him to double-down on his mission, and also a reaffirmation of his bond with Thea – because they chose each other.
Meanwhile, Cisco is still upset with Barry (rightfully so) and takes every opportunity to throw the darkest of shade. The irony here is that for Cisco Ramon, he spent most of the past week or so being angry at Barry for his decision to change history; however, he ended up doing the same thing, which created a newfound level of sympathy for him. Barry then remembers the Firestorms, whereas Oliver suggested that they get the rest of the “Legends”. I came for the Dream Team and got a splintered mess instead.
The ship is a distraction from the big bomb dropped from space. It is nice seeing the “tech support” get some time on an adventure, but Vixen, Mick, and Heywood relegate them to stay on the Waverider.
“It will not go well”, Flash showrunner Andrew Kreisberg confirmed to reporters on Monday. He doesn’t want to lose her. Supergirl heads back to her world. They are maybe not a present as Barry Allen and Oliver Queen were in their parts but everything does come to very entertaining and crowd-pleasing conclusion.
Barry: “Enough to give Ridley Scott nightmares”.
Barry showed Oliver a Central City Citizen Newspaper clipping from 2024. They agree that they never want life to be normal.
Kreisberg said that that show was not able to pull off the expanding from the last year’s two show crossover into a full four show crossover but it did a three-show crossover with a little teasing in fourth. The latest trailer, below, sees characters from the four series in an epic crossover extravaganza. The assembled heroes (who really need an official name) fight against the Dominators in one huge battle.
