‘The LEGO Batman Movie’ Comic-Con trailer is hilarious
The LEGO Batman Movie is coming our way next year, February 10th, and it looks to be just as amusing as the surprisingly great LEGO Movie it’s been spun off of.
We may just be more excited for this version of Justice League than for the Zack Snyder version! ABC News’ Jason Nathanson will be at the panel and live-blogging, so check out all the action below! Adding to the growing list is the upcoming “LEGO Movie” spinoff, “The LEGO Batman Movie”. Kong: Skull Island, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them all debuted something new for fans in attendance at Comic-Con.
It’s the amusing relationship between Batman and Robin that generates most of the trailer’s laughs. The best bit comes when comes Robin points out that the Batcave is hidden below Wayne Manor. Even the simple line of “Bruce Wayne lives in Batman’s attic” strikes deeper than anything presented in Batman vs. Superman.
And the women were not forgotten this year, as the trailer for the origin story for “Wonder Woman” was shown during the convention. Robin gets down to green undies, echoing the somewhat ridiculous original costume from the comics. Can Arnett’s Batman be as amusing when he’s delivered to you nonstop instead of same, comedic doses? Look for it in February 2017, and watch the trailer below. “It’s a title, and all the things the Ancient One knows and passes on, anyone can do”, Swinton said.
