The new girl in Ed Sheeran’s life

It’s being rumoured that Ed Sheeran and Nicole Scherzinger are now doing the dating thing. She was drawn to him over the last few months through his music.

No confirmation from the potential lovebirds as yet, but that hasn’t stopped the celebrity naming mill from going into overdrive. When she split from Lewis, she was heartbroken but ended up playing Ed’s songs on a loop.

The pair have since been rendezvous-ing on many dates including one in Ed’s hometown of Suffolk in which Scheeran (as we shall refer to them from now on) were spotted sinking a pint in the local pub- a date that Nicole described as “so real”.

Ed and Nicole have been friends for quite a while, but apparently they started growing close when Nicole broke up with Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton, who she had been on and off with since 2007.

Anyway, friends of the couple spoke to The Sun this weekend (FYI guys, you can speak to us too, OK…) and shed some much needed light on the situation. It has also been reported that Ed has also since written lyrics dedicated to Nicole.

Nicole’s friend added: “They’re extremely close”.

Scherzinger, the 37-year-old Pussycat Doll singer, has been friends with Sheeran, 24, for some time.

Meanwhile, Ed’s friend told the same publication: “As far as he’s concerned they were in the early stages of dating and he’s been open about it with close friends and colleagues”. Sound off in the comments section below.
