The next iPad Air might have a 4K display
In 2015, Apple chose to unveil the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, rather than update the iPad Air line, however, the iPad maker did update the smaller 7.9-inch iPad mini during that event.
The latest rumors from Apple’s supply chain suggests the 3 Generation iPad Air will feature pixel packed 4K screen.
18/12/2015: It looks like Apple’s 3D Touch technology won’t be part of its plans for the iPad Air 3.
It’s possible the tablet will work with the Apple Pencil, which was originally meant to work with the iPad Pro. Although the leaked design illustration has not been confirmed to be the actual sketch for the iPad Air 3, Nowhereelse did mention that their source has been reliable in the past.
So the question is that what can Apple do to get the attention of buyers back? Also, Apple will be introducing a new type of band made from a new material. The event will probably be held on March 14. With the iPad Air 2 review I really emphasized how a proper keyboard and a good stylus would really make the user experience much more compelling, and with the iPad Pro we’re finally starting to see movement towards the tablet that I’ve always wanted. If that doesn’t happen, Apple’s next event will likely be in September, for the launch of the iPhone 7 and next iOS upgrade. The Apple Watch (2016) is expected to be launched with numerous colored Sport Bands in rubber.
Adding to that release date speculation, Apple traditionally launches new devices during March. Interestingly, some are cheaper than an iPad Air.
The publication also speculates that the new iPad Air 3 will have an 8-megapixel rear camera and a fingerprint scanner like the iPhone 5s upwards.
Take note: readers are advised to take the reported iPad Air 3-related details with the proverbial pinch of salt. Not many, we hope, use the iPad Air for photography, therefore eliminating the need for a flash. To complement the better processor, buyers might see more RAM too. The iPad Air 2 has 2GB of RAM, but the iPad Pro comes with 4GB.
Undoubtedly, the iPad Air 3 will have some enhanced features in comparison to the iPad Air 2.
