The next Moto Z Force revives the headphone jack
Of course, there’s always an off chance that either the representative got the information wrong or Motorola might change its mind at the last minute. We already reported about the Moto Z2 and Moto Z2 Force being the new models in the newly introduced Moto Z-series. However, leaked images published this week by Android Authority suggest that port is making a comeback.
Lenovo-owned Motorola has been planning to unveil new smartphones, the Moto E4 and E4 Plus.
Android Police discovered this via some leaked renders of the upcoming device that they claim to have gotten their hands on. Which means it is a bit thicker than most other smartphones, and that also means no more camera bump here. “This device sports a 5.5” full HD display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor backed up with 3 GB RAM. That’s the same processor that just debuted in Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+. Instead, Motorola is planning a traditional flat screen with big bezels at the top and bottom. The first thing we need to state about these handsets is they actually have the same size 5-inch displays. The images further reveal a dual-LED flash on the front and a textured power button adjusted below the volume buttons. However, something new to the table is the inclusion of a headphone jack, something Moto seemingly left out of the previous generation. The Moto Z Play is the lower end variant of the outstanding Moto Z family. Fortunately for owners of the Moto Z Play, that might not yet be the case. Z Force battery is nano-coated while G6 is IP68 certified. It comes with an 8 MP Rear Camera and 2 MP front snapper camera. Even new, still supported models aren’t safe from suffering an untimely death.
Now if you have been staying away from the Moto Z Series due to the lack of the 3.5mm headphone jack, perhaps it’s time that you reconsider and take a look at the Z2 Force once it’s officially launched.
