‘The Revenant,’ DiCaprio top Golden Globe awards
New music is on the way from Lady Gaga, who confirmed backstage at Sunday’s Golden Globes that her long-awaited ARTPOP follow-up will street at some point in 2016. Gosling was just playing, of course.
Clay Landry, who was the film’s historical consultant, joined host Leisha Grebinski on CBC’s Saskatoon Morning to talk about how he and two colleagues – Loren Yellowbird and Craig Falcon – ensured indigenous culture and people were accurately portrayed in the film. Most of his jokes were a hit.
When Lady Gaga went to the stage to accept her award for her work on American Horror Story: Hotel, she brushed DiCaprio’s arm. I particularly like the fact the show is more like a party and does not have the pomp and circumstance of the Oscars.

Best Original Score went to Ennio Morricone’s soundtrack for Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight. Foxx then blamed the card, which Harvey did when he flubbed the Miss Universe 2015 announcement of the victor. The movie earned awards in the Best Actor, Best Picture and Best Director categories.
Leonardo’s Titanic co-star Kate Winslet also had a delightful evening after picking up the Best Supporting Actress trophy for her role in Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs.
As for the Television Series category, “Mr. Robot” and “Mozart in the Jungle” were awarded as the Best TV Series for the Drama and Comedy categories, respectively, while “Wolf Hall” got the recognition for Best TV Movie or Limited Series.
