The Song Titles Off Gwen Stefani’s New Album Read Like Her Diary
Could it be possible that Miranda Lambert is looking up to her ex-husband Blake Shelton and his new girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, in handling her current relationship with Anderson East?
It sounds like Gwen Stefani might be sitting out the forthcoming Voice season for particularly good reason – her next new solo album could be just around the corner, she hinted on Twitter last night (February 9).
And given this latest teaser of the album’s songs titles, it would seem that the album will be appearing sooner rather than later!
Stefani filed for divorce from the rock singer in August 2015, and their split was finalised in October.
Alongside the photo of her note, she wrote: “This Is What the Truth Feels Like…”
Rumours of a new Gwen Stefani solo album have circulated for a few years, following the release of two standalone singles in 2014.
Lyrics included: “Never thought this would happen / Gonna let it sink in, you’re gone / I don’t know, know what I’m feeling / I must be dreaming, you’re gone”.
The yet-to-be titled album, of course, features “Used to Love You”, but also includes songs with earnest titles such as “Red Flag”, “Me With Out You” and “Where Would I Be??”. “Naughty” 11. “Me Without You” 12. “For me, it purely wasn’t and [it was] a shock and frightful, a insane explosion in my life”. “Make Me Like You” 5.
