The Taylor Swift and Katy Perry Feud Is Getting Complicated
The apparent diss, which came during Swift’s rumored Perry diss track “Bad Blood”, is rumored to have come in response to Perry’s remark that Swift “capitalizes on the take down of women”. The song is expected to be a retaliation against Taylor’s scathing hit Bad Blood which took aim at Katy, who Taylor once described as her “straight-up enemy”.
The same source also disclosed that Katy already had the title “Crocodile Tears” registered.
Following her three-year hiatus from the music industry, Perry’s backup dancers still needed financial income, and eventually learned that Swift was interested in having them join her Red tour. The source continued: “So far she’s been very restrained with what she’s said about Taylor in public but is now finally ready to put her side across via the song – which is all about being fake”.
However, Diplo says of the feud afterwards that it was “the biggest mistake of his career” adding, “don’t ever get into a feud with Taylor Swift, she has about 50 million people that will die for her”. The title alone already offers a hint of the swipe Taylor will be doing on Katy.
The FireWork hitmaker has been at loggerheads with the blonde beauty for some time now and their feud has become the stuff of internet legend in 2015.
Whatever the case may be between the two, it seems certain that Crocodile Tears is bound to be a full-on diss track against Swift, and from what sources have said, this song is going to be much more explosive than Bad Blood.
Taylor Swift’s latest album is titled “1989” and there were reports that Katy Perry is planning to slam her bitter rival with her revenge track titled “1984”, which the “E.T.” singer debunked. Katy Perry was not involved in writing, singing, recording or registering [‘1984’].
It was a minor social media feud that in a matter of days, things were already sorted out between Nicki and Taylor as both expressed apologies to each other.
