The creator of farming sim “Stardew Valley” clarifies the timing of the release date for its multiplayer feature across multiple platforms, including the PC and Nintendo Switch versions.

Friend codes can be entered by accessing your user profile on the console. The bit of good news here is that friend codes aren’t the only way to add other users, but even then, it sounds like it’ll be the most frequently used method. According to posts on social media, the publication is not the only one to have seen no difference in the problems following the patch. It would first have both tchoose the same colored card in order for the connection to proceed.

It has also been discovered that the console uses Friend Codes – Nintendo’s confusing 12-digit code to add your friends to your friend list. These include Miitomo, Fire Emblem Heroes and Super Mario Run.

The online play notification comes after you sign into your Nintendo account through the Switch, which has only been available since the day one update was made available. Nintendo has confirmed it hopes to add more convenient methods of adding friends in the future. The Wii U GamePad has a headphone jack, allowing players to plug in their headphones to the tablet and sit on a couch.

The Nintendo 3DS did have tools to keep game saves intact, so it is possible that these will be added as an app or update, but there is now no information as to whether that will happen. The company chose to stick with the same 12-digit code way of looking for users instead of the more commonly used gamer tag.
