‘The Vampire Diaries’ Adds Three Villains for Season 7
All three will first appear in The Vampire Diaries’ seventh season opener. As previously reported, that group will include a lesbian couple, Nora and Mary-Louise. The Heretics have spent 100 years trapped in a prison world with no one to feed on, and now that they’re free one can only imagine the havoc they’re wreaking all throughout Mystic Falls.
It turns out however that it is not going to be Damon with somebody else, but the show’s new romantic pair would involve Bonnie, played by Kat Graham.
As reported by Variety, Scarlett Byrne (Falling Skies, pictured above ) and Teressa Liane (Neighbours, pictured below) will play Nora and Mary Louise, a same-sex couple (the first on The Vampire Diaries) that wasn’t able to show their affection for each other in public back in the early 1900s. She’s said to be in a relationship with Nora and alongside Elizabeth is ready to cause mayhem for the residents of Mystic Falls with her unwavering and outspoken point of view and potent magic. Cast out of the coven, the Heretics were then turned into vamps by Lily sometime before 1903, enabling them to extrapolate from the magic that gave them their immortality. You hear that, Enzo (Michael Malarkey)?
Variety details that Valerie “has difficulty adjusting to life in Mystic Falls and is opposed to the pacifist instructions Lily has given to the heretics”.
It’s definitely the year for women this season!
Aside from the budding romance between Stefan and Caroline, Bonnie is also going to become closer with Damon. She added, “Kind of like how the Originals injected a nice bit of flavor, I’m hoping the Heretics do the same thing.” She disclosed that she has espoused to the showrunners the idea of her character having some sexual discoveries about herself.
Well, we’d be down for any of the above.
The Vampire Diaries season 7 premieres Thursday, October 8 at 8pm on the CW.
