The Walking Dead Is Introducing TWO New Female Characters! Get The Scoop!
The character of Naomi is described as a “grandmotherly type” that’s been hardened up to the horrors of the apocalypse, doing whatever it takes to keep herself and her loved ones safe so as not to have to bury any more.
Many fans were left angered by season six’s cliffhanger ending, later launched an online petition asking TV network AMC to reveal which character was killed by villain Negan. Sounds like a similar track that Carol (Melissa McBride) took, eh?
These “The Walking Dead” Season 7 characters are brand new and people have not invested in them yet, so it’s fun for the show’s creator to play things up a bit to either let Naomi and Jennie stay longer and replace the presence of Negan’s victim, or give them frightful deaths.
The next will be a teenage girl, close to Carl’s age named Jennie, this could surely stir up some major girl drama between Enid and Jennie over Carl.
Perhaps Naomi will be the replacement for Denise’s doctoral role.
Next, another character will make their debut in the same episode. The show has always liked to drag its feet when getting to pivotal moments, and since Carol and Morgan are on their way to The Kingdom, it should take a good half of the season of The Walking Dead to connect them to Rick. Glenn was the one who died in that same scene in the comics.
TV Line has broken the news on two new characters being added to The Walking Dead’s seventh season. Then again, Naomi and/or Jennie could also be members of the Hilltop community which has only been seen once on television but is a constant location in The Walking Dead’s comics.
