‘The Walking Dead’ Part 2 of Season 6 Premieres Tonight
“The Walking Dead” is executive produced by Scott Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero, and Tom Luse.
Rick takes an axe and starts hacking off Jessie’s arm to free Carl from her grip.
Carl is alive, but has pretty much the grossest wound imaginable, as “Walking Dead” fans totally freaked out on social media over Carl’s eye shot. Since Judith isn’t going to be a real character anytime soon, he seems to be safe. But what if Carl dies in a surprise twist? More work would need to be done to make either of these deaths land.
He also talked to Variety about season six’s finale saying, “It’s different and we’re gunning towards one of the best, most appalling and brilliant season finales we’ve ever attempted”. The zombie herd had broken down the barricades that had supposedly protected the people of Alexandria. In the clip we see Daryl (Norman Reedus), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) encounter some of Negan’s (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) hostile men. Still, if the comics are anything to go by, then audiences can expect to see a scarred blacksmith try to make a living in the Hilltop Colony. In the show, Maggie is pregnant, Negan is coming in the season finale, and the Hilltop Colony has been confirmed for sometime this season, as Xander Berkeley has just been cast as original Hilltop leader Gregory.
The hit AMC series brought to life one of the biggest scenes from the popular comic series so far. He described the Carl’s scene as “awesome, startling and heartbreaking”, which are the feelings that he wanted to transmit with the comic.
How will Negan respond after his henchman, The Saviors, were blown to bits by Daryl? But then again, maybe he’ll just give Glenn’s death to Abraham.
-Shocker: Sam gets eaten by walkers.
About midway through the episode, Jessie’s son Sam (Major Dodson) gets torn apart by several walkers. On tonight’s episode, with walkers inside the gates of Alexandria, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the group are scared.
When we last saw the pack, Rick was leading his new (almost) girlfriend Jessie, her sons Sam and Ron, Carl, Michonne and more through a horde of zombies. It’ll be interesting to see how those two interact. But, of course, we all know that the spectre of Negan looms large over the second half of this season. The character of Lydia has yet to be introduced in the show – and she may never appear, depending on what route the series decides to take – but in the graphic novels she becomes a main love interest for Carl and the woman he loses his virginity too.
