The Walking Dead Recap 11/29/15: Season 6 Fall Finale “Start to Finish”
The Walking Dead recap show is back on Collider Video with hosts John Rocha, Kaori Takee, Quinn Marie and Josh Macuga.
Warning: Major teases for the second half of The Walking Dead Season 6 ahead. Tonight, not so much.
Speaking of stupidity, Carol (Melissa McBride) refuses to let Morgan (Lennie James) hold his Wolf prisoner.
Just don’t expect the midseason premiere to be the “light-hearted” episode. Morgan and Carol, on the other hand, got locked up together with a previously wounded attacker (one of the Wolves) in an empty house in the village.
Another pent up conflict that was bound to come to a head tonight was that between Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Ron (Austin Abrams). Although, knowing this show, they’ll probably drag it out even longer than that. Of course, Jessie’s oldest son, Ron, who already hates Rick and Carl, will see all of this go down and immediately become angry. As the zombies came rushing into town, Deanna gets bitten by a Walker while the rest planned an escape to be lead by Rick. As Deanna’s fever sets in, she and Michonne share a touching moment about what the future of the Safe-Zone could be. Again, Feldhshuh was a great addition to the cast, and it was sad to see her go.
Notice: This article contains spoilers of “The Walking Dead” season 6 episode 8.
Fans are just starting to get over the almost-death of Glenn, since we saw him fall into a zombie herd with Nicholas (Michael Traynor) in this season’s third episode Thank You. The ensuing exchange reveals that the bikers are with Negan, a character that fans of the comics will be very familiar with.
“It started off as something else… and turned into something else at the end”, he explained. Catatonic silence would be a bit more believable-and tolerable. It wouldn’t be a mid-season finale without uncertainty. “It’s my luck, start to finish”.
A must-watch exclusively for the introduction to characters and the relationships between them. With the exception of Deanna’s rock star death, this was a pretty weak episode. The last five episodes of season 5 answered that question with Rick accepting an approach of unapologetic brutality in murdering Pete, a fellow Alexandrian.
The clip, which AMC released online shortly after it aired last night, features Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham driving the abandoned fuel truck Daryl found in the woods, on their way back to Alexandria after getting jumped by a mysterious gang.
