‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 adds important new character
Tom Payne, known for his work on the HBO show “Luck” and the British series “Waterloo Road“, will play Paul “Jesus” Monroe, TheWrap has learned.
For Season 6, the former deputy would face more challenges in the post-apocalyptic world as he deal with predicaments in the Alexandria Safe Zone. The network may hide the true name of the individual from fans but the surprisingly vivid description provided for the character has Negan written all over it. The beginning of the setup was bringing the group to Alexandria in the first place; now, we have to wait for chaos to arrive. We also get a glimpse at some of the new characters popping up this season, including Merritt Wever’s Dr. Denise Cloyd and Ethan Embry’s Carter. In that story, Rick explains that his grandfather considered himself dead every day before he’d go out to fight and that this was how Rick and his group needed to see their own lives. So what will happen to Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the gang during Episode 1?
The casting call doesn’t reveal when the character will make his series debut, but some fans believe that the popular baddie will first appear in the season 6 finale. This would perfectly set up Season 7.
The Walking Dead season 6 begins on October 11. What actor is truly fit to play the “physically imposing, charismatic, brutal, smart, ferocious, frightening, hilarious, inappropriate, oddly friendly, fun loving sociopath?” Even if you read the comics, it’s hard to be sure, since the show has often charted its own course.
“There’s a particular story in that arc that I’m very excited for”.

We had said at the time that we don’t see the network having anything to worry about with numbers falling however after episode four, the show took another hit.
